Galerie an der Pinakothek der Moderne – Barbara Ruetz

The First Gallery that moved to the museum area. The only one that opens on Sundays.

Barbara Ruetz is an established gallery owner in Munich for over twenty years and consistently shows high quality in her exhibitions. She has also earned her reputation not only in Munich, but internationally through her numerous trade fair presence.

She attaches great importance to personally advising prospective buyers and collectors and enjoys the trust of her clients.

Barbara Ruetz represents artists whose works are contemporary and expressive. Works that have character. Art showing an attitude. Painting is partly abstracted, partly close to narrative realism.

The sculptures presented by Barbara Ruetz are made of a variety of materials such as wood, stone, metal or acrylic, glass, plastic, paper or concrete. Depending on the material used, the variety of forms extends from abstract to figurative sculptures.

Painting or photography and sculptures are always shown in two solo exhibitions: this opens up the room to the sculpture. Barbara Ruetz presents sculptures and paintings together, but each trait in separate spaces. She always designs two separate exhibitions.
